Is it free to join your affiliate program?
Yes, joining our affiliate program is absolutely free. In fact, when you join we give YOU money. We strongly believe that affiliates are a valuable asset and we encourage and support all of our affiliates to help them succeed with our program.
Are you really giving me $25?
Yes! We are giving you a starting balance in your affiliate account of $25. When you get your first commission payment it will include your $25 bonus.
How often will I get paid?
We pay monthly to every affiliate who has a balance of $75 or more. Your money will be automatically deposited to your PayPal account, which you must have in order to be paid commissions. If you balance is below $75, your balance will carry forward to the next month or until you have met the minimum balance of $75 required for payment.
How do you track my sales and commissions?
We are using a professional 3rd party solution that specializes in providing the tools necessary to manage and track affiliate sales and commissions. When a visitor clicks on your affiliate link to visit LearnVisualStudio.NET a cookie is placed on the visitor’s computer. When the visitor purchases a subscription, the cookie is retrieved and used to match that purchase to your affilate account.
How long do my visitor’s cookies last?
The visitor’s cookie will expire in 45 days. You will get credit for all sales your visitors make within 45 days of sending them to LearnVisualStudio.NET.
Can I create my own affiliate links?
Yes. If you don’t want to use one our our existing text links that we have provided for you, you can create your own custom links that point to any page on LearnVisualStudio.NET. For example, if you want to send visitors to a particular video tutorial about learning the new features of C#, then you can create your own custom affiliate tracking link. All custom links and creative material require approval from LearnVisualStudio.NET prior to their use. Contact the affiliate manager for more information.
Can I use my affiliate links to purchase a subscription for myself?
No, you may not purchase a subscription through your affiliate links for your own use. Please read and review our Terms of Service during signup for more information.
How will I know how much I’ve earned?
As an affiliate you have access to real-time statistics 24 hours a day. You’ll be able to see how much traffic you are sending through your affiliate links, sales generated and commissions earned. You’ll also use your “Affiliate Control Paanel” to get new links and creative banners to generate even more traffic and sales.
What are pending commissions?
LearnVisualStudio.NET offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for all new subscribers. Therefore, all of the sales generated through your affiliate links will be pended for a period of 30 days to ensure that your visitor becomes a paying member of LearnVisualStudio.NET. You can view all of your pending commissions within the affiliate control panel under “Commissions – Pending Approval”. Once your commission payment is approved you will see it under “Commissions – Current Commissions”.
Can I run PPC ads as an affiliate to drive traffic to LearnVisualStudio.NET?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. And we do not have any restrictions on keywords you bid on, ad copy or directly linking to our site on most search engine providers. However, if you plan to run ads on the Google PPC network, then there are a few restrictions that you must adhere to as part of the LearnVisualStudio.NET affiliate agreement.
What are the restrictions for running Google PPC ads?
You may not bid on our list of restricted keywords, which can be found in the Terms of Service. Also, as part of the LearnVisualStudio.NET affiliate agreement, you may not use the term “LearnVisualStudio.NET” in your ad.
Can I link directly to LearnVisualStudio.NET from my Google PPC ad?
Yes! We know that linking directly to LearnVisualStudio.NET is a great way to maximize the effectiveness of your PPC campaigns. We believe that PPC ads are an effective form of advertisement and do not discourage their use for our affiliates if used in accordance to our Terms of Service, which can be reviewed during the sign up process.
Do you offer exclusive affiliate only discounts or coupons for affiliates to use on their sites?
We offer seasonal promotions, special offers and discounts to visitors of LearnVisualStudio.NET throughout the year. Our affiliates will be made aware of all upcoming promotions so that they may, in turn, promote them to their visitors, friends or colleagues. We do not offer special discounts or coupon codes on top of what we already offer on LearnVisualStudio.NET.
